These are the original boards
Nothing is stored and nothing is looked up. Every board is derived from its own date, so the 1st of August 2026 produces the same grid today that it produced on the day, and will produce it again in ten years. That is what makes an archive worth having — a replacement puzzle for a day you missed is not the same thing as the puzzle.
All four difficulties are seeded separately, so easy and expert on the same date are genuinely different boards rather than one grid with clues added back. Every one is carved to a single solution.
